Factorizing wormholes in a partially disorder-averaged SYK model

A bstract In this paper, we introduce a “partially disorder-averaged” SYK model. This model has real parameter that smoothly interpolates between the ordinary totally disorder-averaged and fixed-coupling For large N effective description, in addition to usual bi-local collective fields, also new additional set of local fields. These fields can be understood as “half” limit, they represent “half-wormholes” which were found recent studies. We find saddles these vanish total-disorder-averaged while develop nontrivial profiles gradually fix coupling constants. argue bulk picture represents correlation spacetime brane asymptotic AdS boundary. illuminates how half-wormhole emerge with fixed couplings.
